Stephen Collens
Head of Operations
Stephen Collens has a MHSc degree from University of Toronto, Canada.
Since 1990, he has worked in primary health care programme design and management in Ghana, Bangladesh, Namibia, Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. His international experience includes health systems development in both stable and fragile states, principally in the areas of district health systems strengthening, community-based PHC education and maternal health interventions.
Stephen joined LATH as Head of Business Development in 2007. Now, as Head of Operations, he has the responsibility to ensure the high quality delivery of programme management services including provision of individual programme management for a portfolio of overseas programmes. Stephen also has responsibility for contributing to proposal writing and wider new business development planning and delivery.
